In my latest interview with Simon Nott (below) , I had the opportunity to share my journey into racehorse ownership—a dream that began in my boyhood and has since become a reality.

It’s a story filled with highs and lows, triumphs and setbacks, and I hope it offers you a glimpse into the thrilling, yet often challenging, world of horse racing.

The beginning of my journey was far from smooth. My first horse, whom I had pinned so many hopes on, never even made it to the races. It was a tough pill to swallow, but it taught me valuable lessons about resilience and the unpredictable nature of this sport.

Despite this rocky start, my passion for horse racing only grew stronger, leading me to create ONE CAREFUL OWNER as part of a rebrand at VALUE RATER, a vibrant community of like-minded enthusiasts who share my love for the sport.

Through ONE CAREFUL OWNER , I aim to provide you with an insider’s perspective on horse racing. I will be posting regular video diaries that take you behind the scenes, offering a candid look at what really goes on in the stables, the training grounds, and the racing tracks.
